  • About this position:
  • LMCU is seeking a collaborative and strategic Business Integration Consultant to help ensure enterprise initiatives are operationally ready, effectively adopted, and successfully transitioned into ongoing business ownership. This role serves as a key bridge between strategy, implementation, and day-to-day operations, helping the organization turn approved initiatives into measurable business outcomes.

As part of a newly established Strategic Operations function, this position will play an important role in helping build and mature the organization's approach to operational readiness, change adoption, and enterprise initiative execution.

Working within Strategic Operations, the Business Integration Consultant partners with stakeholders across the organization to coordinate readiness planning, assess operational impacts, support organizational change efforts, and drive adoption of new products, services, processes, and strategic initiatives. This role plays a critical part in helping teams prepare for change, align stakeholders, and achieve sustainable results.

The ideal candidate brings experience in organizational change management, business transformation, process improvement, or project leadership and is comfortable influencing across teams while managing multiple priorities.

What you'll do:

Organizational Readiness

  • Lead readiness planning activities for strategic initiatives, products, services, and operational changes
  • Assess impacts to people, processes, systems, policies, and procedures
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and barriers to successful adoption
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure operational teams are prepared for implementation activities

Change Management & Adoption

  • Develop and coordinate adoption strategies, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Support change management efforts that enable successful implementation and long-term sustainability
  • Partner with leaders and business units to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of new initiatives
  • Build alignment among stakeholders throughout the implementation process

Cross Functional Collaboration & Operational Integration

  • Facilitate collaboration among business units, operations, technology, training, compliance, risk, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate handoffs between teams and ensure ownership transitions are clearly defined
  • Support governance and initiative review activities
  • Evaluate operational impacts and support process improvements related to strategic initiatives
  • Assist in developing procedures, documentation, and operational readiness materials

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, organizational development, operations, finance, or a related field
  • Five or more years of experience in business operations, organizational change management, project leadership, consulting, business transformation, process improvement, or a related discipline
  • Experience leading cross functional initiatives preferred
  • Credit union or financial services experience preferred
  • Change Management certification such as Prosci or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience with process improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience supporting enterprise initiatives and organizational transformation efforts
  • Knowledge of project, portfolio, or program management practices
  • Strong organizational change management and readiness planning skills
  • Ability to assess operational impacts and develop transition strategies
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong problem solving and relationship building skills
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
