Business Operations & AI Enablement Manager
Career Opportunity
The Manager – Business Operations & AI Enablement is a firmwide leadership role that partners with managers, directors, and principals to strengthen operational performance and support growth. The role leads AI, automation, data, and technology initiatives; supports forecasting, KPIs, and management insights; assists with consultant staffing and development; and works with market leaders to align resources, improve processes, and address evolving business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead responsible AI, automation, data, and technology solutions that improve operations, reporting, and firm performance.
Assist with forecasts, KPIs, dashboards, and analyses that provide leadership with timely, actionable business insights.
Advocate for consultants by supporting staffing, development, hiring, onboarding, and accurate talent information.
Partner with market leaders to strengthen operational consistency, address risks, and support strategic priorities.
Detailed Responsibilities
1. AI, Data & Technology | 50%
Maintain current AI agents and help develop and deploy new agents and automation that streamline internal operations, strengthen consultant support, improve resource planning, and enable sales teams.
Evaluate manual and fragmented processes, identify improvement opportunities, and build integrated workflows using Power Automate, SharePoint, and other internal platforms.
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and ad hoc analyses that translate operational data into clear, actionable insights for operations, HR, marketing, and leadership.
Own HubSpot data quality and governance.
Identify cross-practice AI, data, and technology initiatives that solve business challenges, encourage innovation, and improve firm performance.
2. Forecasts & KPIs | 20%
Maintain operational forecasts and help develop advanced reporting.
Share weekly Starts/Ends and Go-Get reporting; eventually improve this report.
Analyze consultant utilization, capacity, availability, and other resource-related metrics.
Translate operational data into clear insights, trends, risks, and recommended actions for leadership.
Improve the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of forecasting and KPI reporting.
Develop ad hoc reports and analyses to support operations, HR, marketing, and firm leadership.
3. Consultant Advocate | 15%
Build strong relationships with consultants to understand their experience, capabilities, interests, career goals, development needs, and concerns.
Use understanding of consultant backgrounds to backstop staffing agent.
Support professional development through training, continuous-learning programs, and targeted growth opportunities.
Support consultant interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
Help maintain complete, current consultant profiles, skills information, and related talent data.
4. Market Support | 15%
Partner with Senior Manager to understand market activity and support each market wile helping establish consistency.
Support staffing and resource allocation by assessing Financial Operations project requirements and balancing client needs with consultant capabilities, availability, and development goals.
Promote consistent operations across markets, adapt processes to local needs, and help implement new tools, workflows, and reporting practices.
Contribute to firmwide strategic initiatives and evolving market support priorities.
Qualifications
Required
Experience using AI and automation to improve business processes, internal operations, or knowledge-based work.
Some experience developing AI agents, automated workflows, or multi-step business-process solutions.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
Experience working with business data, including data quality, governance, reporting, and process management.
Experience supporting CRM data hygiene and adoption, preferably within HubSpot.
Analytical capabilities and some experience developing forecasts, KPIs, dashboards, or management reporting.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information to executives, internal leaders, consultants, and candidates.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, personal integrity, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Team-oriented and motivated to support firmwide strategic initiatives.
Bonus Points
Exposure to SharePoint Lists, Microsoft Power BI, and Power Automate.
Experience with HubSpot administration, process management, or data governance.
Knowledge of NetSuite Analytics, SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, or NetSuite reporting.
Experience integrating data or processes across HubSpot, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, NetSuite, or similar business platforms.
Accounting, finance, or Financial Operations experience.
Experience supporting consultant staffing, development, onboarding, or resource planning.
3+ years progressive accounting and finance experience as a consultant in a consulting firm
1+ years’ experience as a resource manager or an internal operations manager in a consulting firm
