Position Overview

The Business Operations Management Program Manager is responsible for driving complex, cross-functional initiatives across Deal & Partner Operations. This role leads programs and projects from definition through implementation, translating business and subject-matter requirements into scalable processes, work instructions, and operational solutions that support organizational priorities.

Working closely with Deal & Partner Operations leadership and stakeholders across Autodesk, you will identify process gaps, evaluate risks and trade-offs, align parallel workstreams, and guide programs toward measurable outcomes. You will independently navigate complex and evolving requirements, influence without direct authority, and communicate recommendations, progress, and challenges to audiences at multiple levels of the organization.

You will also support organizational readiness and change adoption, strengthen subject-matter expertise across the organization, and use data, business applications, automation, and AI to improve efficiency, decision-making, and communication.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Business Operations Management and Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Deal & Partner Operations.

The position is based in Barcelona and follows Autodesk’s hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, cross-functional programs and projects from scoping through implementation, ensuring alignment with Deal & Partner Operations’ strategic objectives

Translate specialized subject-matter requirements into clear business requirements, scalable processes, and operational solutions

Manage and align multiple parallel workstreams, integrating critical dependencies, risks, and decisions into the overall program plan and established operating processes

Evaluate complex problems, priorities, risks, and trade-offs to recommend innovative solutions and make informed, long-term scoping decisions

Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, and introduce new ideas, technologies, and solutions that improve operational effectiveness

Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority, adapting communication approaches to support decision-making and program outcomes

Partner with Deal & Partner Operations leadership through regular program reviews to monitor progress, address risks, and maintain alignment with strategic objectives

Communicate program recommendations, progress, risks, and challenges clearly to audiences at multiple levels, escalating concerns when timely leadership action is required

Lead change management and organizational readiness activities using established Deal & Partner Operations communication and adoption practices

Leverage AI, data, and business applications to automate routine work, analyze complex information, and streamline program communications

Build organizational capability by developing subject-matter experts and maintaining a broad understanding of relevant sales tools, programs, and processes

Operate independently, seeking guidance primarily for the most complex or unusual situations

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, program management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or operational initiatives from definition through implementation

Experience in program management, business operations, sales operations, or a related discipline within a complex, global organization

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, priorities, and competing stakeholder needs

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to evaluate options, assess trade-offs, and recommend scalable solutions

Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority, including navigating negotiation and conflict constructively

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience tailoring recommendations, program updates, and risk escalations for operational and executive audiences

Experience leading change-management, organizational-readiness, or process-adoption activities

Proficiency with business applications and collaboration platforms; experience with Salesforce, Airtable, SharePoint, or similar tools is beneficial

Ability to operate independently in ambiguous and evolving environments, exercising sound judgment on complex or unusual issues

Experience using AI, automation, or data-analysis tools to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, or program communication

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with instructional design, adult learning principles, or the development of training and enablement materials is considered an asset
