About The Team

You’ll be joining the Joybuy team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and hands-on professional to support the development and performance of Joybuy’s business in Germany.

Reporting directly to the Germany Country Director, you will work across strategy, business performance and execution, partnering with teams across Commercial, Operations, Finance and Product. You will help turn business priorities into action, use data to identify opportunities and performance gaps, and improve the processes and mechanisms that support the business as it scales.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is well suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across functions and turning ideas into practical outcomes.

What You Will Do

• •Drive strategic priorities: Lead cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution, bringing structure and momentum to complex business topics.
• •Improve business performance: Track key metrics, identify performance gaps and translate insights into concrete actions.
• •Turn data into decisions: Analyse business performance, identify opportunities and risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• •Build better ways of working: Improve processes, governance and operating mechanisms to increase efficiency and accountability.
• •Accelerate AI adoption: Identify practical opportunities to use AI and automation to simplify workflows and improve productivity.
• •Connect teams and drive execution: Work across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Product and other functions to align priorities and resolve dependencies.
• •Solve ambiguous problems: Structure complex or new business challenges and turn them into practical solutions.

What We Are Looking For

• •Experience in strategy, business/commercial operations, supply chain, program management or a related function, ideally within e-commerce or retail.
• •Experience in e-commerce or retail is a strong plus. A solid understanding of vendor management and the underlying commercial dynamics of a retail business — such as pricing, selection, availability, promotions and commercial terms — is highly valued, even if you have not directly managed vendors yourself
• •A strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and turning strategy into measurable outcomes.
• •Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data to influence decisions and improve business performance.
• •Excellent business judgment and the ability to understand the commercial and operational drivers behind performance.
• •Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• •The ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority. ·
• •A practical understanding of how AI, automation and new technologies can improve business processes and productivity.
• •A high level of ownership, curiosity and bias for action.
