Business Systems Analyst Senior Lead

Applies master-level knowledge of business systems processes to identify areas for improvement or optimization, involving designing new systems or enhancements to streamline operations or meet regulatory compliance. Evaluates and recommends technology solutions or software that best fit the organization's needs, considering factors like scalability, security, and integration capabilities. Works independently to own major portions of project management activities, ensuring new systems or updates are implemented on time and within budget. Conducts advanced analysis and interprets complex data sets to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes for the business. Checks to ensure that systems and processes comply with industry regulations and standards, especially within the highly regulated financial industry. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, document and align detailed business requirements within technological solutions. Acts independently to manage the testing phase, ensuring that the developed systems meet the specified requirements and perform as expected. Facilitates training and support to end-users for newly implemented systems or upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption. Inspects systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness, proposing and implementing improvements to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

This role encapsulates being responsible for shaping strategic direction through-complex challenges, and the development of innovative precedent-setting solutions. The work involves managing or contributing to large-scale, long-term projects, investigations, and analysis to address undefined problem. Responsibilities include developing new applications as well as serving as a key resource, communicating policies and practices across the organization and influencing decision. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role will manage resources across functions and drive technological advancement. A university degree is required, typically supported by significant experience and often an advanced degree such as a PhD or MS.
