BUSSER / RUNNER

Description

The Busser is responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, or resetting tables. They ensure that the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins. Ensure success as a busser, should be highly organized, and have a keen eye for detail. A skilled busser should be good with their hands, highly efficient, and be able to provide a great level of customer service.

Runners ensure food is transported safely from the kitchen to the customer, providing additional customer service as needed.

Requirements

Bussers

Clear, clean, and reset tables between seatings.

Move tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customer needs.

Assist with cleaning and processing dirty dishes and silverware.

Set up the restaurant after service and prep for the following service.

Be courteous, friendly, and have a pleasant demeanor.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. via food or beverage trays or required equipment.

Safely transport items to and from the kitchen on a slick, uneven surface.

Lift and carry multiple plates from the kitchen to the dining room.

Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant.

Frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, and wipe.

Runners

Be courteous, friendly, and have a pleasant demeanor.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. via food or beverage trays or required equipment.

Lift and carry multiple plates from the kitchen to the dining room.

Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• •Complete TX Food Handler Certification per state requirement.
• •Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• •Follow management and leadership instructions.
• •Report to work in a complete required uniform.
• •Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the restaurant's image.
• •Complete job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner in accordance with Casa Rio policies and procedures.
