We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Veterinarians to join our new Weekday Overnight In-Patient Companion Animal Service based in Feilding. This exciting role will play a key part in delivering an enhanced level of care for our hospitalised patients while working alongside our Companion Animal and Specialist teams.

Proposed Hours

4.30pm - 12am, Monday to Friday Plus, on-call support from midnight until 8am.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee hospitalised patients.

Provide emergency triage and stabilisation when required.

Assist with admissions and treatment planning for overnight patients.

Provide clinical support and guidance to evening and overnight nursing teams.

Complete comprehensive patient handovers to the overnight nurse and daytime teams.

Conduct companion animal consultations during evening clinics.

About You

You will:

Enjoy companion animal medicine and patient care.

Be confident working independently while collaborating with a wider team.

Have strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Be committed to delivering exceptional standards of patient care.
