Cable Assembler

Description

To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to customer specification and company policies.

Essential Job Functions:

• •Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling
• •Set and assemble small, large hand tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools
• •Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• •Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• •Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with direct supervision
• •On-site attendance is required
• •Ability to follow established processes and procedures
• •Must be able to concentrate and sit for long periods of time
• •Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• •High School Diploma or GED required
• •Minimum of 1 year experience in Assembly or Manufacturing environment required
• •Ability to interpret blueprints preferred
