CAD Engineer (1 Year Fixed Term Contract) Michelin, the Worldwide leader in Tires, is hiring!

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Compliance of Machine technical documentation and of associated instructions (safety, quality, response procedures and backup, ...)
  • Produce accurate and error-free technical process machine drawings and layouts & Deliver drawings on time according to project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and company specifications maintaining the necessary confidentiality levels.
  • Update and manage drawing revisions and document control effectively align with the Michelin standards.
  • Support engineers and project teams with detailed design documentation.
  • Improve drafting efficiency through effective use of CAD software and standards.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings and project records.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve design and drafting issues promptly.
  • Contribute to cost savings by optimizing designs and reducing rework.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical drafting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal relationship skills.
