Café Team Member – Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens

  • Contract Type: Part time
  • Salary: Competitive, age-dependent
  • Working Pattern: Flexible hours, including some weekends

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented person with exceptional customer service and presentation within the restaurant.

As a Café team member, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of food and beverages. This is a hands-on position that includes ensuring the efficient operation of the Café, from setup to cleanup.

Requirements

Previous experience in a comparable role preferred

Must be hands on and take ownership of day-to-day operations

Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in delivering high-quality presentation

Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a small team

Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to working hours (including some weekends)

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all dining spaces

Physically capable of manual tasks, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and carrying

Own transport would be advantageous due to the location

Promptly report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages to management

Strictly adhere to Food Safety & Health & Safety processes at all times

Provide polite, professional interactions with guests and respond to any requests efficiently and courteously

Skills We Love

Experience in cafés, bars, or restaurants required (e.g., making coffee, serving food)

Experience in hospitality or customer service required

Strong interpersonal skills & a customer-focused smile—perfect for chatting with families!
