Cancer Center Coordinator
- Location: On-site, East Building - Cancer Center | La Crosse, WI
- FTE: 0.8 (64 hours per two-week pay period)
- Schedule: Four 8-hour weekday shifts with Wednesdays off (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) | Day shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. | No weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities
Make a Meaningful Difference Behind the Scenes of Cancer Care
Join our Cancer Center team in a vital coordination role supporting cancer survivorship, accreditation, treatment planning, and supportive care programs. This position is instrumental in maintaining the quality, compliance, and excellence of our Cancer Center while helping ensure a positive experience for patients and families. Through collaboration with departments across the organization, you'll help drive initiatives that directly impact patient outcomes and program success.
What You'll Do
- This is a colalborative position working with various roles and teams of people across the Cancer Center.
- Coordinate Cancer Center programs, specialized clinics, meetings, and other initiatives in collaboration
- Support Cancer Center accreditation activities, compliance monitoring, reporting, and program readiness
- Coordinate survivorship initiatives, including patient tracking and treatment summary distribution
- Track grant-related activities and support funding compliance requirements
- Connect patients and families with supportive resources, including wig and head covering services.
- Partner with leaders and departments across the organization to support Cancer Center initiatives and drive process improvements.
- Evaluating cancer conference data and trends, and providing recommendations to Cancer Center ops leaders on continuous improvement opportunities
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of three years of healthcare experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
- Cancer Center experience and familiarity with accreditation activities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Experience with Epic and process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and build collaborative relationships across departments.
