Job Description:

Job Summary:**

CROWN KSA Dammam is seeking a skilled Cans Front End Mechanic to maintain and repair machinery in our can manufacturing facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of front-end can production equipment.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • * Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all front-end can manufacturing machinery, including cuppers, bodymakers, trimmers, and flangers.
  • * Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • * Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them.
  • * Replace worn or defective parts, including bearings, gears, belts, and seals.
  • * Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
  • * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • * Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
  • * Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status.
  • * Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and production schedules.
  • * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.

Job Qualifications:**

  • * High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field preferred.
  • * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience on can-making equipment.
  • * Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • * Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • * Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
  • * Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
