We are looking to hire a Cardiac Sonographer I!

As a Cardiac Sonographer I at MercyOne Genesis, you will:

• •Provide safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for newborn through aging adult patients undergoing echocardiography testing and/or procedures
• •Acquire ultrasound images, evaluate tests using critical thinking and evidence based practice
• •Process echocardiography studies for physician interpretation for structured reporting in adherence to American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines
• •Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities in an ICAEL accredited facility

Schedule :

• •6:30a - 5:00p
• •8 hour shifts
• •38 hours per week
• •Rotating weekends
• •Rotating holidays
• •Rotating on call

General Requirements :

• •2 year Cardiac Ultrasound college program or equivalent experience
• •Previous pediatric through adult experience in cardiac ultrasound, TAVR experience preferred
• •Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible and must get registered within 1 year of accepting position.
