Pay Range:

$34.21 - $51.31 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Dedical On Call Team with our Cardiac Cath Lab! In this role, you’ll play an essential part in supporting physicians during a variety of invasive and diagnostic/interventional procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to provide safe, high-quality care while helping make a meaningful difference in the patient experience.

  • Position Specifics:
  • Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Core Function: Imaging
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 30-minute response time required while on call
  • Paid for 40 hours per week, including during your scheduled week off
  • One week on / one week off call rotation (Monday to Monday)
  • Weeknight call: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
  • Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts during your scheduled week off

Three mandatory day shifts per month are required as part of this position - shifts are typically 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Education Qualifications
  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.
  • Experience Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience working in a cath lab radiologic technologist role is required.
  • Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.

Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.

Advanced certification is preferred: Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
