Caregiver – Chicago, IL

A family in Chicago, IL 60643 is seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver for an elderly family member to assist with evening support, gentle mobility, and daily routines.

Schedule:

Start Date: ASAP

Days: Monday through Thursday

Hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM (16–20 hours per week)

Family Specifications:

Smoke-free home

Pet-free home

Responsibilities:

Providing engaging companionship and memory care supervision

Assisting with gentle indoor mobility and walking laps around the house to help manage arthritis stiffness

Assisting with routine personal care (applying skin cream)

Ensuring safety and comfort during late afternoon/evening hours

Requirements:

Prior senior care experience required

Experience with dementia care and mobility support

Must be able to reliably commute

Strong communication, reliability, and engaging presence

Preferred:

CPR/First Aid certified

Compensation:

$20-$23 per hour
