Carpenter - RH

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our manufacturing shop.

Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Responsibilities:

• •Install architectural doors, walls, and trim
• •Handle material
• •Use power tools (e.g. circular saw, drill, reciprocating saw, etc.)
• •Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
• •Work in a fast-paced team environment

Education Requirements/Qualifications:

• •Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
• •Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• •At least one year experience in wood or metal carpentry
• •Construction experience preferred

Job Requirements/Special Skills:

• •Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints, and layouts
• •Ability to work independently and on a team
• •Strong verbal communication skills
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• •Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
• •Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
