Cash and Trade Processing Analyst (maternity cover)

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity.

Responsibilities:

• •Process all regular, restricted and legal transfers; which include processing of payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity
• •Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements
• •Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent
• •Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors
• •Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed
• •Develop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives
• •Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• •Independently apply judgement in managing day-to-day responsibilities, including assessing complex situations, resolving issues, and determining appropriate courses of action. Will be responsible for decisions and outcomes within area of responsibility, leveraging professional expertise and analytical thinking to address challenges and ensure delivery of work to defined quality and performance expectations.
• •Support effective functioning of the business area by ensuring that administrative processes are implemented consistently and outputs meet expected standards. Will operate across varied and evolving situations, responding to operational requirements to ensure continuity, quality, and timely delivery of work.
• •Applies domain expertise and advanced analytical capability to deliver outputs aligned with established standards and professional benchmarks. Will evaluate business requirements by analyzing complex issues, forming well‑reasoned views, and recommending practical, implementable solutions. Apply structured thinking, analytical rigor, and creativity in approaching work, particularly in situations where standard methodologies may require refinement. Will exercise sound professional judgement in interpreting requirements and determining appropriate courses of action, taking into account the broader business context and potential implications.

Qualifications:

• •Previous relevant experience preferred
• •English and Russian knowledge
• •Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations
• •Effective verbal and written skills
• •Effective communication and analytical skills

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
