We are looking for a highly responsible and detail-oriented professional to manage vault and cash operations at the branch. This role plays a key part in ensuring secure cash handling, strong internal controls, and full compliance with regulatory and operational standards, while also contributing to process improvements and team efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Act as primary custodian of the vault, ensuring strict adherence to dual control and access procedures

Manage daily cash operations, including start-of-day releases, end-of-day balancing, and safekeeping of cash, cheques, and accountable forms

Ensure proper execution of maker-checker controls and timely resolution of outstanding items

Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and records in line with retention policies

Monitor vault access, maintain logbooks, and ensure only authorized personnel are allowed entry

Conduct regular inventory, replenishment, and proper handling of accountable forms and obsolete stocks

Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (BSP, AMLC, PDIC, BIR)

Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in system enhancements, UAT, and business continuity activities

Collaborate with stakeholders and escalate issues with proposed resolutions in a timely manner

Requirements and expectations

Relevant experience in cash handling, vault management, or branch operations in banking

Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and risk management

High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and follow structured processes

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, operational environment
