The Role

We're seeking experienced and passionate Lighting Technicians to join our Crown Live Theatre team on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Production & Technical Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting theatre productions, performances and live events, delivering exceptional technical outcomes across Crown Melbourne's entertainment venues

In this role, you will:

• •Operate lighting systems and technical show equipment for productions and events.
• •Perform lighting console operation, follow spot operation and other show duties.
• •Support show installations, setup, programming, testing and pack-down.
• •Maintain lighting equipment and infrastructure.
• •Collaborate with venue teams, contractors and production stakeholders.
• •Ensure all lighting operations comply with safety and venue requirements

You'll bring:

• •Experience in theatrical lighting, live entertainment or major events.
• •Knowledge of lighting control systems including GrandMA3, GrandMA2 and ETC IOS.
• •Strong technical troubleshooting and organisational skills.
• •The ability to interpret lighting plots, technical drawings and show requirements.
• •A flexible approach and availability to work across performances, events and productions.
