Description
Adventure Tours is hiring a dependable, hands-on CDL Detailer / Yard Jockey to help keep our Philadelphia fleet clean, fueled, organized, and ready for service. This role is essential to preparing buses for daily assignments and supporting smooth yard and vendor operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare buses for service by cleaning and checking that each vehicle is ready for its scheduled assignment.
- Clean and detail bus interiors and exteriors to meet company presentation standards.
- Fuel buses and maintain an orderly, safe fueling area.
- Move and position buses throughout the yard safely and efficiently.
- Drive buses to and from outside vendors for cleaning and other assigned services.
- Perform basic service checks and assist with routine vehicle service needs as assigned.
- Report damage, maintenance concerns, and other vehicle issues promptly.
- Keep the yard, work areas, and detailing supplies clean and organized.
- Follow company safety procedures and all applicable driving and vehicle-handling requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL and a safe driving record.
- Experience driving buses or other commercial vehicles preferred.
- Ability to safely maneuver large vehicles in a yard and around tight spaces.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to perform hands-on work, including cleaning vehicles and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible to support operational needs, including preparing buses for service as schedules require.
Compensation
$18–$21 per hour, based on experience.
