The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama is looking for a dependable, experienced Class A CDL Driver who wants more than just another driving job.

THE SCHEDULE YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR

• •Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• •HOME DAILY!
• •NO overnight travel
• •NO over-the-road (OTR) routes
• •Local pickups and deliveries within our 12-county Central Alabama service area
• •Full-time position with a consistent weekday schedule

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll operate a 27-foot refrigerated box truck , transporting food and other products between our Food Bank, donors, and community partner agencies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• •Safely completing scheduled local pickups and deliveries.
• •Loading, unloading, and securing food products.
• •Performing required vehicle inspections.
• •Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation.
• •Monitoring refrigerated truck temperatures to protect food quality and safety.
• •Providing friendly, professional service to our community partners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• •Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• •Minimum one (1) year of professional Class A CDL driving experience.
• •Acceptable driving record.
• •Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements.
• •Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to excellent service.
• •Comfortable assisting with loading and unloading deliveries.
