• Job Description
• Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused CDL Drivers in Kansas to support rail construction and operations projects. This is a full-time, hands-on role responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools to job sites while supporting field operations.

In this role, you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, assist with loading and unloading equipment, and support field teams as needed. You will play a critical role in ensuring materials and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with DOT and FRA regulations.

• Full-time; schedule varies based on project and travel requirements

• Compensation:
• Hourly pay based on experience

Duties

• •Safely operate a Class A truck hauling equipment on flatbed and lowboy trailers
• •Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• •Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform basic preventive maintenance
• •Report any defects or maintenance needs to internal teams
• •Maneuver trucks in tight environments such as construction zones and active job sites
• •Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials safely
• •Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• •Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, inspections, and incidents
• •Assist with labor or equipment operation tasks as needed
• •Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols
• •Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• •Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
• •Ability to secure loads safely to trailers
• •Experience operating heavy equipment preferred
• •Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• •Ability to travel regularly and stay overnight as needed
• •Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and job site environments
• •Ability to operate in construction zones and uneven terrain
• •High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• •Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• •Strong attention to safety and detail
