Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Description

• •Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• •Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• •Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
• •Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• •Assist with meal service and feeding residents as needed.
• •Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying up resident living areas.
• •Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities.
• •Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and observations.
• •Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Requirements

• •Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is required.
• •High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• •Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.
