The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA is an essential nursing team member who provides residents with daily nursing care in accordance with the residents’ assessment and Plan of Care.

• •Review care plans and provide care accordingly
• •Identify and honor resident choices in activities of daily living, while maintaining resident safety
• •Communicate with care staff at all levels to adequately meet the needs of the residents

Requirements

• •Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry
• •Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their families
• •Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• •Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
• •Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
• •Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
• •Basic computer skills
