The Role - What You’ll Do

Our team-focused Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) deliver rehabilitative care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, supporting patient progress, independence, and high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

• •Assist with patient assessments, treatment planning, and goal achievement.
• •Provide therapy services, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
• •Collaborate with patients and care teams to deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care.
• •Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications - What We're Looking For

• •🎓 Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
• •✅ Current State Licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required
• •❤️ BLS/CPR Certification required
• •🏥 While 1 year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.

Physical requirements - What you need to know

• •A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
• •Both gross and precise motor functions.
• •Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
• •Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
• •Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
• •Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
• •Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
