  • Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech
  • Location: Monticello, Illinois
  • Department: Surgery
  • Position Type: Full-time
  • Hours per week: 30-40 per week
  • Schedule: M-F; variable mornings to fit our and your needs
  • Holiday Requirement: None
  • Hourly Rate: $26.97-39.45
  • *Compensation includes department differential and dependent on experience
  • # of Openings: 1

Job Summary:

Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures to provide safe and effective care. Oversees the application of sterile and aseptic technique and assures that equipment functions properly. Ensures operating suite/procedure room is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and necessary supplies within the department. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments, scopes and equipment per recommended guidelines and practices. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited Surgical Tech program
  • Operating Room Technician Certification.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in the Operating Room Preferred.
