About Capco
Capco is a global business and technology consultancy dedicated to the financial services industry. We combine deep industry expertise with consulting and transformation capabilities to help leading financial institutions navigate complex change and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Across APAC and globally, we partner with banks and financial institutions on programmes spanning business transformation, digital and technology change, operating model transformation, regulatory change and large-scale programme delivery.
As we continue to grow our Malaysia practice, we are looking for experienced change professionals who can help our clients successfully navigate transformation — ensuring stakeholders are engaged, impacted teams are prepared, and change is effectively embedded across the organisation.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Change Management Consultant with a strong Banking and/or Wealth Management background to support complex transformation programmes across our financial services clients.
You will be responsible for understanding the people and organisational impacts of transformation and developing structured change approaches that enable successful adoption.
The role requires a strong combination of change management, stakeholder engagement and communications expertise, alongside sufficient banking domain knowledge to understand the business context in which change is taking place.
You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, programme leadership, technology and delivery teams to assess change impacts, identify stakeholder needs, develop communications and engagement strategies, and support the organisation through transition and implementation.
This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role suited to someone who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, bring structure to change, and communicate effectively across different levels of an organisation.
What You'll Do
Change Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute change management strategies and plans aligned to programme objectives and business outcomes.
Assess the scale, complexity and organisational impact of proposed changes.
Define appropriate change interventions across different stakeholder and impacted-user groups.
Develop integrated change plans covering stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, adoption and implementation activities.
Partner with programme leadership to ensure change considerations are embedded throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Change Impact & Readiness
Conduct change impact assessments to understand how transformation will affect people, processes, roles, systems and ways of working.
Identify impacted stakeholder groups and assess the nature and significance of change across the organisation.
Conduct readiness assessments and identify potential barriers to adoption.
Develop appropriate mitigation and intervention plans to address identified change risks.
Track change readiness and adoption throughout implementation.
Stakeholder Management & Engagement
Conduct stakeholder identification, analysis and mapping across complex banking organisations.
Develop tailored stakeholder engagement strategies based on influence, impact and change needs.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, business leaders and programme teams.
Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions and engagement forums.
Identify stakeholder concerns, resistance and dependencies and work with programme leadership to address them.
Support senior sponsors and change champions in effectively leading and communicating change.
Communications Management
Develop and execute change communication strategies and plans across transformation programmes.
Define key messages, audiences, communication channels and sequencing.
Develop high-quality communications materials including leadership communications, programme updates, briefing materials, FAQs and presentations.
Tailor communications for different stakeholder populations and levels of the organisation.
Ensure communications remain aligned with programme milestones, business priorities and change objectives.
Monitor communication effectiveness and adjust approaches where required.
Adoption & Business Readiness
Support business teams in preparing for implementation and transition to new processes, systems or ways of working.
Coordinate change activities with project, business, operations and technology teams.
Support training-needs analysis and coordinate with learning/training teams where required.
Develop and monitor change adoption and readiness measures.
Support post-implementation activities to help embed change and identify areas requiring additional intervention.
Consulting & Client Delivery
Produce high-quality consulting deliverables, including change assessments, stakeholder maps, communications plans, change roadmaps and executive presentations.
Provide structured insights and recommendations to client stakeholders.
Facilitate discussions and workshops with senior stakeholders across business and technology.
Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and other transformation specialists.
Contribute to Capco's change management methodologies, propositions and reusable assets.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience in Change Management, Organisational Change or Business Transformation, ideally within banking or financial services.
Hands-on experience developing and delivering change management strategies and plans across transformation programmes.
Strong experience in stakeholder management and engagement, including working with senior stakeholders.
Strong communications management capabilities, including development of communication strategies, plans, messaging and executive materials.
Experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder assessments and business readiness activities.
Experience supporting transformation from planning through implementation and adoption.
Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous transformation environments.
Strong consulting mindset, with the ability to structure problems, challenge constructively and develop practical recommendations.

We value strong change management capability combined with genuine banking domain exposure over experience across every area listed above.
