5 South is a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit that cares for acutely ill adult patients with a wide range of conditions, including:

• •Urology
• •Nephrology
• •Trauma
• •Colorectal Surgery
• •General Medical Conditions

This fast-paced, collaborative unit offers nurses the opportunity to build a strong clinical foundation while gaining experience across multiple specialties. Our team partners with Virtual Nursing to provide innovative, patient-centered care and support bedside nurses.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• •Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care
• •Develop and coordinate individualized care plans
• •Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• •Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
• •Mentor and support fellow nursing colleagues
• •Contribute to a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• •Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• •Current Iowa RN license (or Illinois RN license if applicable)
• •BLS required within 3 months of hire
• •ACLS required within 3 months of hire
• •BSN preferred
• •Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care
