How You’ll Shine

As a Food & Beverage All Rounder / Cook, you will play a hands-on role in the day-to-day Food & Beverage operations at Kirra Beach Resort, working across both kitchen and guest service functions.

You will prepare and present high-quality food while also supporting front-of-house service to ensure our Owners and guests enjoy a welcoming and memorable dining experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• •Preparing, cooking and presenting meals in accordance with established menus and quality standards
• •Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations and food preparation
• •Providing friendly and professional food and beverage service to Owners and guests
• •Taking orders and serving food and beverages
• •Assisting with restaurant set-up, clearing, cleaning and general service duties
• •Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
• •Monitoring food quality, presentation and portion standards
• •Assisting with stock rotation, storage and general inventory requirements
• •Working across kitchen and front-of-house duties based on operational requirements
• •Following workplace health and safety, food safety and company policies and procedures
• •Working collaboratively with the wider resort team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

• •Previous experience in a Cook, Food & Beverage or hospitality all-rounder role, ideally within a resort, hotel, café or restaurant environment
• •Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant trade qualification is desirable
• •Sound knowledge of food preparation, food safety and hygiene
• •Food & Beverage or customer service experience
• •A positive, friendly and team-focused approach
• •Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• •Confidence working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• •Excellent communication and customer service skills
• •Ability to work a flexible roster including nights, weekends, school holidays and public holidays
• •Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, or willingness to obtain, where required
