Chemical Operator

Draslovka is hiring an experienced Chemical Operator for our Memphis Plant.

• Minimum Qualifications Required:
• •Candidate must possess the demonstrated ability and job aptitude to perform the essential job functions
• of vacant position, must have a positive attitude and ability to work with a team
• •High School diploma/equivalency
• •3-5 years as an operator in a chemical or related petrochemical manufacturing process or industry (or
• relevant experience defined by management).
• •Have a high regard for personal safety and the safety of others
• •Be proficient in computers to perform job tasks
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills
• •Strong reading comprehension and listening skills
• •Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• •Strong work ethic, discipline, and high attention to detail
• •Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, protective eyewear,
• steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator (no facial hair), SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).
• •Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, reach overhead, lift up to 50lbs, and
• have excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity, with or without accommodations.
• •Must be willing and able to serve on the site Fire Brigade, including the ability to successfully pass all
• physical fitness/medical requirements.
• •Ability to work in a High Hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces,
• confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
• •Ability to work rotating 12 hour rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business
• needs require.
• •A current and valid, state-issued driver's license
• •Strong mechanical aptitude
• •Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment
