Automotive Parts Manager

  • Celebration Chevrolet | Aurora, CO
  • Pay dependent on experience ($75,000-$125,000)

About Celebration Chevrolet

At Celebration Chevrolet, we’re focused on building a dealership that customers trust and employees are proud to be part of. That starts with strong leadership, teamwork across departments, and people who take pride in doing their jobs well.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Parts Manager who wants to help shape the department’s success. This is an opportunity to lead a team, improve daily operations, and make a direct impact on customer satisfaction and dealership performance.

Our Team and Approach

The parts department plays a critical role in keeping our dealership moving. Our technicians depend on accurate, timely support, our customers depend on knowledgeable service, and our parts employees need a manager who provides clear direction and leads by example.

We’re looking for someone who communicates openly, treats people with respect, and works closely with service and dealership leadership. You should be comfortable helping at the counter when needed, coaching your team, and taking ownership of both challenges and results.

What You’ll Do

Lead and develop your team: Train, coach, and support parts employees while setting clear expectations for accuracy, productivity, and customer service.

Manage daily operations: Oversee the parts counter, ordering, receiving, stocking, deliveries, and special-order follow-up.

Maintain a healthy inventory: Balance availability with inventory investment, manage obsolete and aging stock, and oversee returns.

Protect inventory accuracy: Conduct regular counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain reliable records.

Support the service department: Work closely with technicians and service advisors to get the right parts where they’re needed and minimize repair delays.

Serve retail and wholesale customers: Build relationships through knowledgeable assistance, timely communication, and dependable follow-through.

Monitor department performance: Review sales, gross profit, expenses, and inventory performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Oversee manufacturer processes: Manage warranty parts retention, manufacturer returns, and applicable GM parts procedures.

Improve department processes: Identify recurring problems and put practical solutions in place.

Maintain an organized workplace: Promote clean storage areas, safe handling practices, and efficient workflows.

What We’re Looking For

Previous automotive parts management or department leadership experience is a plus.

Strong understanding of dealership parts operations, inventory control, and parts catalogs is a plus.

A hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach employees and hold them accountable.

Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

A customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively across departments.

Comfort using dealership management systems and reviewing department reports.

GM dealership parts experience is a plus.

Tekion experience is a plus.

We offer medical, dental, and vision benefits, including:

100% paid preventive care.

Flexible PPO options.
