Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte and speciality drinks, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.

Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.

Take orders accurately and promptly, explain menu items and recommend drinks based on customer preferences.

Provide friendly, professional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Operate espresso machines, coffee brewing equipment and other beverage preparation tools proficiently.

Keep the bar, coffee station, equipment and seating areas clean and organised.

Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies and assist with inventory management.

Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.

Follow health and safety procedures and responsible alcohol service requirements.

Work closely with team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Assist with events and promotions.

Expand your knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, beverages and mixology techniques.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista, bartender or in a similar role is preferred.

Good knowledge of coffee preparation, beverages and mixology techniques.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Availability to start as soon as possible.
