Our culture is built around ABLE: Always do the right thing, Be yourself, Learn and evolve, and Execute. We believe great results start with strong teams, supportive leadership, and people who take ownership of their work.

We’re looking for an experienced Claims Supervisor to lead and develop a team of Claims Representatives and Claims Support Specialists in our West Hills, California office.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced claims professional who is ready to lead from the front, develop people, maintain strong technical and compliance standards, and help drive the continued success of our Claims organization.

This is a full-time, onsite position in West Hills, CA and is not a remote opportunity.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop Your Team

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to Claims Representatives and Claims Support Specialists.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen technical knowledge and overall performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide timely feedback, recognition, training, and coaching.
  • Help identify, recruit, hire, and develop strong claims talent.
  • Manage team scheduling, workload, time-off requests, and staffing needs.

  • Recommend and help implement improvements to claims processes, systems, procedures, and workflows.
  • Foster an environment focused on continuous learning, accountability, and development.
  • Partner with Claims leadership on department goals, operational needs, and performance initiatives.

Maintain Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure claims handling complies with applicable state and federal requirements, Department of Insurance requirements, company guidelines, and industry best practices.

  • Strong understanding of insurance terminology, claims practices, standards, and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical claims direction and make sound decisions
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced claims environment

Leadership Skills

We’re looking for someone who can do more than supervise workflow. The right person will be a coach, problem solver, and leader who can:

  • Develop and motivate claims professionals
  • Hold team members accountable while creating a supportive environment
  • Make sound and timely claims decisions
  • Effectively manage competing priorities
  • Identify performance gaps and provide actionable coaching
