• We are looking for a depot shunter/Cleaner to fuel, clean and park our buses, and perform other maintenance tasks within the depot.
• The Role:
• You’ll be a key member of our staff maintaining and repairing our fleet of Alexander-Dennis, Volvo and Optare models
• Fuelling, washing and safe parking of our fleet
• Accurately completing reports of coolant/oil/fuel issues
• Flexibility to provide relief cover to the backshift shunters in other Depots when needed.
• Full compliance with Stagecoach group health and safety procedures
• Hours of work will be 38 hours per week, working on a 5 over 7 backshift pattern, 6pm-2am with overtime opportunity. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and be flexible towards meeting the needs of the business.
• About you:
• Flexible to the requirements of the business and committed, as well as a positive work ethic
• Willingness to take pride in your role and be satisfied with a good day’s work
• Full car licence
• PSV licence desirable, and upon satisfactory completion of a probationary period the successful candidate will be considered for their PSV licence by the company
