Job Summary
Amplifire is seeking a Client Engagement Director to join our growing team in Boulder, Colorado. The CED is responsible for supporting overall client strategy and success for a portfolio of Amplifier’s Healthcare clients. The CED will develop strong relationships with clients, leading to a better understanding of their goals and objectives and building trust. The CED is responsible for partnering with our clients to ensure they are gaining maximum value and impact from our platform and is constantly looking for new opportunities to expand our partnership with clients and increase revenue potential. The CED collaborates closely with Amplifire’s Executive, Client Services, Sales, and other internal teams to ensure our clients are always on a path to success. Reporting to the General Manager, the CED thinks critically about revenue growth and retention, and sets and exceeds quarterly and annual growth goals.
In this role you will lead the process for account strategy and planning for all of the clients you interact with and then execute on those strategies to demonstrate success. This is a crucial role on the Amplifire team; if you enjoy interacting with clients, and building and executing successful account and revenue growth strategies, we would love to hear from you!
Measures of Success
· Develops strong, long-term relationships with Amplifire Healthcare clients, leading to new work and clinical outcomes/efficacy data to support client and Amplifire success.
· Works successfully with internal teams to support our client’s business, training, and clinical goals
· Identifies new opportunities that don’t currently exist, and works with internal teams to be proactive in bringing those thoughts to our clients.
· Has a strong revenue orientation, thinks critically about account growth, retention, renewals and how to find predicable growth patterns across accounts.
· Delivers on account strategy key performance indicators (KPIs) defined annually and by quarter to demonstrate predictable growth and revenue retention (e.g., contract renewals, clinical outcomes, identification of new training offerings, etc.)
Requirements
Demonstrated Skills
· Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college.
· 7+ years of client management or client engagement experience.
· 7+ years of healthcare experience required (clinical, healthcare analytics or consulting, or healthcare training and operations),[AN1] particularly in client engagement
· Demonstrated success selling to executive-level roles in enterprise institutions, with direct experience working with Chief Learning Officers, Clinical Outcomes leaders, Nurse Educators, or hospital quality executives (not only procurement or generic enterprise contacts)[AN2]
· Demonstrated revenue growth planning acumen in previous roles and a track record of measurable retention and expansion results (e.g., growth of book of business, renewal rates), including from account management or consulting roles[AN3] .
· Experience analyzing and using data to demonstrate key points and objectives for clients, including building or interpreting BI dashboards and reports (e.g., MicroStrategy, Qlik, Salesforce, HubSpot) and translating them into ROI and clinical outcomes narratives that executives act on[AN4] .
· Interest in public health and health outcomes in the hospital setting.
· Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation and facilitation skills, and a consultative, proactive approach to partnering with clients[AN5] .
· Adapts when client scope, timelines, or success metrics change mid-engagement, proposing a path forward and keeping the client and internal teams aligned.[AN6]
Desired Qualities (but not required)
· Clinical license (e.g., RN) or post-graduate clinical[AN7] , public health, healthcare administration, behavioral or organizational science, or education degree; process-improvement (e.g., Six Sigma) or instructional design certification[AN8]
· Experience in the healthcare industry in clinical practice (e.g., nursing), healthcare analytics, public health, consulting, clinical education or training, or client management[AN9] (hospitals or managed care) desired.
· Understanding of cloud-based enterprise software implementations, a plus (and/or learning management systems).
· Hands-on experience designing, delivering, or managing training, curriculum, or instructional content, ideally in a clinical or hospital education setting.
Salary: $110,000 to $145,000 annually
