We believe the best healthcare is a conversation, and one that includes nutrition, fitness, sleep, and behavioral health. If you are looking for a new primary care opportunity, one based on the quality of care, not the quantity of patients, please consider our available positions.

The Clinical Front Office Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring consistent, high-quality patient experience across all clinic locations by training and supporting front office staff. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs for Patient Care Coordinators, Call Center Representatives, and other designated support staff. What you’ll do:

Lead front office onboarding and clinic orientation for new clinic support staff.

Deliver role-specific training on front office processes including scheduling, insurance verification, charge review workflows, and patient intake.

Serve as the on-site trainer for clinic teammates as needed during go-live support, workflow changes, and new site launches.

Collaborate with clinical leadership and subject matter experts to design and update training materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures.

Develop, schedule, and lead ongoing training sessions, refresher courses, and cross-training initiatives to support operational excellence.

Incorporate feedback and performance metrics into training updates and identify opportunities to enhance learning outcomes.

Assess training needs and performance gaps through clinic observations, teammate feedback, and performance reports.

Promote standardization of front office practices, including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out, prior authorization workflows, and use of Epic EMR tools such as Cadence.

Support process improvement initiatives that enhance patient access, revenue cycle operations, and front desk efficiency.

Partners with Clinic Managers, Practice Manager, and the Clinical Education team to align training with organizational goals.

Serve as a liaison between front office staff and operational leadership to ensure training reflects current policies, compliance standards, and best practices.

Foster a culture of service, accountability, and continuous learning across front office functions.

What you’ll bring:

Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, education or related field, or equivalent experience.

Three years of experience in a front office role within a healthcare clinic setting.

Proven experience in training, onboarding, or mentoring front office or clinical support staff.

Strong knowledge of medical scheduling systems, insurance workflows, and patient service protocols.
