Clinical Nurse - 8am to 8:30pm - Emergency Department - NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center

From hi-tech intervention to community trauma care, our nurses identify challenges, comfort families and organize teams when every second counts. As a designated 911 receiving hospital, our facilities include Level I Trauma Centers for both adult and pediatric patients, a Psychiatric Emergency Receiving Center, a citywide Burn Center and more. Across all departments, our nurses collaborate with paramedics, physicians and others to use induced hypothermia, digital radiology and other novel techniques. This is a full-time, 12-hour, Days shift. The hours are from 8am to 8:30pm. Rotating Weekends and holidays required. 13 shifts a month. This position is at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Required Criteria

• •Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• •At least 1 year of acute care RN experience in an Emergency Department or Medical/Surgical setting
• •Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• •BCLS certification
