Summary:
Coordinates and provides clinical pharmacy services to patients and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Provides leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians and other support staff for the distribution, dispensing and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory and safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
Competent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician I.Assists with process improvement and continuous quality and safety monitoring initiatives.Able to perform all activities per pharmacy technician scope of practiceAssists with procurement of medications and supplies through various ordering platforms.Performs sterile compounding, including limited hazardous medications in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Education and Certification Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)Pharmacist License (PS LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work well with others in a team with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
