Odyssey House is seeking a Clinical Therapist for our Adult Residential and Outpatient Programs!

Job Locations: Adult Residential – Downtown SLC, UT and Redwood Intensive Outpatient Program – Taylorsville, UT
Schedule: 5 8-hour shifts; 3 days a week, 9 am to 5 pm at Adult Residential in Millcreek; 2 days a week, 1 pm to 9 pm at Redwood Intensive Outpatient Program in Taylorsville. Adult Residential days are flexible. Open to discussing 4 10 hour shifts.
Compensation:
- New Therapist: Starting wage $65,000
- Fully Licensed Therapist: $70,000
- 5 years of Applicable Experience: $75,000
Benefits Package: Equals to approximately $22,000

Requirements
As a Clinical Therapist, you will:
- Appropriately diagnose mental health and substance-related conditions using the DSM-5.
- Utilize the Therapeutic Community model as a component of treatment within Adult Residential services.
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy as assigned.
- Develop effective rapport with clients on caseload while maintaining healthy boundaries.
- Complete thorough and effective assessments, such as funding extension requests, within required timeframes.
- Coordinate client psychiatric evaluations and other wrap-around services to provide effective care.
- Complete treatment planning within required timeframes.
- Utilize motivational techniques to retain and support client progress.
- Actively utilize the treatment team for clinical support on caseload.
- Maintain 20 hours of face-to-face time with clients per week.
- Connect clients to community resources.
- Complete service documentation within the appropriate client management system within 24 hours.
- Accurately document services using ASAM Dimensional Analysis format, including all required elements.
- Maintain proactive communication with collateral supports, including family members, significant others, probation officers, judges, caseworkers, and other relevant parties, and complete accurate, thorough client and court reports within established timeframes.
- Coordinate care with case managers, medical providers, and community partners.
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed.
- Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused practices.
- Contribute clinical expertise to program development and quality improvement.
- Document all incidents immediately and report as required.
- Provide high-quality client care within the scope of the assigned position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- You hold a current state license as a Mental Health Professional, including CSW, LCSW, CMHC, ACMHC, LMFT, or MFT.
- You hold a graduate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- You have strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- You understand trauma-informed and recovery-focused care principles.
- You are able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients.
- You are adaptable and comfortable providing clinical services across both Adult Residential and Outpatient treatment settings.
- Addiction treatment or behavioral health experience is preferred.
- You are eligible to work in the USA.
- You have First Aid and CPR Certification.
- If working with children or vulnerable adult populations, you must pass a criminal background check.
