The Role

The Cloud Architect role focuses on designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure that powers our automation solutions. The Cloud Architect is a strategic position that partners with key stakeholders in the organization to build well-defined, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with the company’s 100% cloud strategy.

What You'll Do

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure

Design and implement infrastructure for the complete application lifecycle: data pipelines, environments, deployment, and monitoring;

Architect scalable solutions for cloud workloads and automations;

Document and implement cloud design patterns, including microservices, service architectures and automations;

Design, build and optimize infrastructure for high-availability applications and workflow automations;

Select and design database, storage and search systems that support our integration and data platforms;

Lead architecture and technology design and deployment projects using appropriate methodologies to develop production-ready solutions in a cloud environment;

DevOps and Infrastructure Operations

Support the Application/Infrastructure solution’s architecture in AWS.

Design, migrate, and implement complex, robust and cost-effective solutions as they relate to AWS and the company’s Flexspring cloud infrastructure making sure that solutions align with existing devops systems and practices.

Establish Cloud Strategy based on core architecture principles, patterns and decisions with a focus on controls for cost optimization, optimum resource utilization, IAM, tactical security posture and governance.

Create architectural diagrams, project plans and present technology roadmaps and designs in Architecture Review Board meetings.

Leadership and collaboration

Train and/or mentor colleagues and ensure that critical comprehension and know-how is shared and distributed among team members.

Create architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and present roadmaps in Architecture Review Board meetings

Provide technical leadership on best approaches to provide cloud capabilities that are secure, that scale and deliver business value with quantitative measures.

Provide best practice guidance and expert technical architectural support for solutions that involve cloud infrastructure, management and security, including integration with 3rd party products.

What You Bring

Must Have

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.

5+ years of networking and virtualized system administration experience to deliver end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.

3+ years of experience architecting, designing, and building cloud IaaS, PaaS cloud architecture solutions services. AWS-related experience is required.

3+ years of experience in implementing cloud application architecture, automation, and orchestration, governance, and security architectures for public cloud implementations.

3+ years of experience working with container-based systems and container orchestration services such as Docker, Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.

Experience with identity frameworks, including but not limited to OAuth, OpenID and SAML.

Ability to maintain proficiency in vulnerability and threat management best practices.

Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.

Knowledge of emerging cloud technologies and related ecosystems.

Experience with IT governance, risk, and compliance management.

Complete mastery of Linux operating systems.

Nice to Have

Knowledge and ability to work with the following systems: Elasticsearch Stack, Message Brokers such as ActiveMQ or Artemis, Java and Spring Boot applications, Intrusion detection and prevention services, relational and no SQL databases, Configuration management tools such as Ansible

Ce que vous ferez

Architecture et infrastructure infonuagiques

Concevoir et mettre en œuvre l'infrastructure pour l'ensemble du cycle de vie des applications : pipelines de données, environnements, déploiement et surveillance;

Concevoir l'architecture de solutions évolutives pour les charges de travail et les automatisations infonuagiques;

Documenter et mettre en œuvre des patrons de conception infonuagiques, notamment les microservices, les architectures de services et les automatisations;

Concevoir, bâtir et optimiser l'infrastructure pour les applications à haute disponibilité et les automatisations de flux de travail;

Sélectionner et concevoir les systèmes de bases de données, de stockage et de recherche qui soutiennent nos plateformes d'intégration et de données;

Diriger des projets de conception et de déploiement d'architectures et de technologies en utilisant des méthodologies appropriées afin de développer des solutions prêtes pour la production dans un environnement infonuagique;

DevOps et opérations d'infrastructure

Soutenir l'architecture de la solution applicative et d'infrastructure dans AWS.

Concevoir, migrer et mettre en œuvre des solutions complexes, robustes et rentables liées à AWS et à l'infrastructure infonuagique de Flexspring, en veillant à ce qu'elles s'alignent sur les systèmes et les pratiques DevOps existants.

Établir la stratégie infonuagique en fonction des principes, des patrons et des décisions d'architecture fondamentaux, en mettant l'accent sur les contrôles liés
