Overview of what we do:

Our Cloud Configuration & Compliance squad and Cloud Partner Engineering teams are part of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), which provides a wide range of services across the cloud ecosystem. The co-op student will rotate between both areas to gain a broader understanding of how cloud platforms are governed, supported and improved. This may include helping analyse cloud configuration and compliance findings, supporting reporting and evidence collection, assisting with customer requests, learning how AWS services are enabled and supported, updating metadata such as AWS tags, and contributing to automation or process improvement opportunities.

  • Understand and work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) concepts, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), identity and access management, tagging, monitoring and cloud security fundamentals.
  • Support the Cloud Configuration & Compliance squad with analysis of cloud configuration, compliance and security findings, including reviewing trends, preparing reports and helping track remediation activity.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring, automated evidence collection, audit support activities and documentation that help demonstrate alignment with internal standards, directives and policies.
  • Work with Cloud Partner Engineering to support customer requests, cloud onboarding activities, account lifecycle tasks, service requests and guidance for application teams using cloud services.
  • Contribute to operational support and incident-related activities by helping gather information, document actions, update tickets and follow established support processes.
  • Build or improve simple cloud-based services, scripts, dashboards or reporting outputs based on defined patterns and team guidance.
