Job Description

Role : Cloud Engineer

Function : Cloud Operations, Maintenance and Monitoring

Work Location : Vadodara, Gujarat

Who are you

You are Cloud Engineer having a strong foundation in AWS cloud services, Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure management. You will support the day-to-day operations of an AWS-based SaaS platform, monitor system performance, troubleshoot basic infrastructure issues, and assist with application deployments.

Experience : 1 - 3 Years

Qualification : B.E/B.tech/M.E/ M.tech (EC, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, CSE)

Technical Skills Required :

Key Responsibilities:

• •Build : Implement infrastructure using IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi) per architecture specs
• •Platform Monitoring : Monitor system health, performance, and application logs to catch infrastructure issues proactively.
• •Deployment Support : Assist DevOps, Operation or development teams with routine application deployments and environment provisioning.
• •Incident Triage : Respond to first-level alerts, troubleshoot basic infrastructure failures, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• •Routine Maintenance : Handle patch management, minor version upgrades for databases, and backup verifications.
• •Operations : Manage container orchestration ( e.g. Kubernetes/ECS), autoscaling, load balancers, Implement security controls (IAM policies, secrets management, patching, vulnerability scanning)
• •Manage backups, DR drills, and cost optimization at the operational level (rightsizing, reserved instances), Automate repetitive ops tasks (runbooks → scripts/tools)
• •Documentation : Maintain clear documentation for internal processes, runbooks, and infrastructure diagrams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience : 1–3 years of experience in junior Infra/Platform/DevOps roles or system administration & IT support.

AWS Basics : Solid understanding of core AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and basic VPC networking.

CI/CD & Tools : Familiarity with GitHub and basic exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Docker etc

Certifications: AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer– Associate or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

Strong scripting (Python/Bash/Powershell) & Linux administration, networking fundamentals
