CNA/HHA Needed! 1 on 1 Home Care - 1099 - 4 hour shifts

This role is critical in delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.

Responsibilities Will Include:

• •Providing non-medical personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• •Assisting with daily living activities like light housekeeping and meal prep.
• •Offering companionship and engaging our clients in activities they love
• •Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• •Provide support in critical care environments, including ICU and medical-surgical units
• •Must be able to assist clients with transfers
• •Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols
• •Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and treatments as directed
• •Document patient information accurately in electronic health record systems
• •Participate in patient education by teaching basic health concepts and care instructions

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• •Experience: Someone who is experienced in the field and with Alzheimer's/Dementia and holds a CNA and/or HHA license
• •Compassion: A genuine love for spending time with seniors and making them smile and a commitment to maintaining patient dignity,
• •Skills: Ability to assist with personal care, daily living activities, companionship, and other client needs.

Requirements:

• •Experience in a hospital or assisted living setting is a plus
• •Knowledge of infectious disease care practices
• •Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as critical care units
• •Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• •Must be able to speak, read and write English
• •Physical ability to lift patients and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods
• •Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient dignity
• •Driver's license is a must, professional liability insurance is preferred
• •Must be able to pass a level 2 background
