CNC Lathe Machinist

Our Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist .

This role is Full-Time First Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• •Set up CNC lathes according to blueprint specification
• •Selects the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
• •Verifies dimensions and tolerances of finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• •Modifies speeds and feeds based on product and material
• •Makes minor programming changes as appropriate
• •Maintains strong communication and documentation

Requirements

Qualifications:

• •2 or more years’ experience with CNC Lathes
• •Knowledge of safe working practices and safe machine operation
• •Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• •Knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerance
• •Experience with various metals and plastic
• •Technical aptitude and math skills
• •Able to work in a fast-paced environment with production deadlines
