EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. This Swiss Style Lathe Operator will be responsible for the CNC manufacturing of precision components on CNC Lathe machines.

Primary Job Duties:

• •CNC Machine experience required
• •Lathe experience with live tooling (Y axis) and sub-spindle
• •Read and interpret drawings
• •Read micrometer and other precision instruments
• •Calculate/adjust machine settings
• •Identify/solve problems
• •Training/ Mentoring – Learn everything you need to know about the production process and enjoy a variety of cross-training opportunities .

Requirements

• •High School diploma/GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• •Fluent in Shop Math.
• •Minimum of one year of shop experience.
• •Maintains cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods.
• •Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
• •Solid work history.
• •Must be able to frequently: push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see general and close up, hear, speak, use motor coordination - dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot and use of hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers and arm(s) in any direction.
• •Must be able to occasionally: kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs.
