 Position Overview

Position Dates: January 11, 2027 – June 30, 2027

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our DevOps, Tools & Automation team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow in the field of test automation and software development, with a strong focus on Python-based development.

You will help design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools that ensure the reliability and performance of our software systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for backend services, APIs, and web applications.

Build reusable Python modules and utilities to support test automation.

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate automated testing into Jenkins pipelines.

Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and reliability.

Some programming experience (Python preferred)

Education and Experience

Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant engineering program.

0-2 years hands on experience in software development or functional and non-functional testing

Additional Informatio n

The position is hybrid at our facility in Acton, MA.

Travel is estimated at 5% but will flex depending on business needs.

This position is not eligible for employer-based visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $25.00 - $34.00

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
