Collision Center Paint Prepper

Description

As a body shop technician, you will be responsible for preparing damaged vehicles repaired by the body shop for painting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• •Quality inspects body repair work
• •Mask for overspray
• •Prep repaired areas for primer
• •Spray primer on all repaired areas
• •Block-sand primed areas
• •Prep new parts panels for blend
• •Repair scratches, chips prior to painting
• •Buff re-finished product
• •Must comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA
• •Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
• •Maintain a clean work area
• •Other duties assigned by management
