We are looking for a highly skilled Combustion Application Specialist to drive the growth of our combustion applications business and support strategic customer opportunities across France & Europe. Working closely with sales teams and customers, you will leverage your technical expertise to develop innovative solutions.

The person can be based in Paris, Strasbourg or Saint Quentin Fallavier.

As a Combustion Application Specialist, you will be responsible for :

  • Drive the growth of Air Products' combustion applications business by identifying, developing, and securing new customer opportunities.
  • Act as the technical expert during customer engagements, supporting sales teams and demonstrating the value of Air Products' solutions.
  • Develop and present technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and support projects through start-up.
  • Provide process expertise for combustion applications to differentiate Air Products within business cases.
  • Serve as the combustion specialist for France, while supporting Northern Europe and selected opportunities across the wider European region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical training and support to sales teams and represent Air Products at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.

To be successful you will have :

  • Solid experience in industrial combustion technologies , ideally 10+ years, although candidates with around 5 years of highly relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong technical expertise gained in industries such as glass, aluminium, cement, steel , or other high-temperature manufacturing environments.
  • Technical credibility and the ability to translate process expertise into customer value; prior sales experience is necessary.
  • Master's degree in Combustion Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering , or a related technical field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
  • Fluent in French and English , with a willingness to travel regularly across France and Europe.
