At Tandem Health we’re reimagining healthcare by putting clinicians first. Our platform - designed by clinicians, for clinicians - is built on deep insight into real-world pain points, with intuitive medical notes and workflows that truly support patient care.
We’re a fast-scaling health-tech company backed by top investors and expanding globally. We move fast, stay curious, and believe building something that matters starts with an extraordinary team. If you're passionate about impact and innovation, we'd love to meet you!
About the role
As Sales Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving Tandem’s growth across the Swedish municipal sector. Reporting to the Head of Municipalities, you will lead and develop the municipal sales team, support the execution of our sales strategy, and help build strong, long-term relationships with municipalities across both social services and municipal healthcare.
We see strong growth potential in the Swedish municipal market, and you will play a central role in leading the team day to day to get there.
Combining hands-on sales execution with team leadership, you will coach and support sales colleagues, drive pipeline development, and lead strategic customer opportunities from initial engagement through to close. You will work closely with the Head of Municipalities to translate commercial priorities into effective sales activities, improve team performance, and strengthen Tandem’s position in the Swedish market.
Working cross-functionally with Medical Operations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Project Delivery, you will help ensure that our sales approach reflects the needs of municipal social care and healthcare organisations and demonstrates clear value to customers.
What you will do
Lead and develop the municipal sales team: Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to sales team members, helping them develop their skills, manage opportunities effectively, and achieve their individual and team targets.
Drive sales execution: Work with the Head of Municipalities to translate the overall sales strategy into clear priorities, actionable plans, and effective sales activities for the Swedish municipal segment.
Develop the sales pipeline: Together with our SDR team, support the sales team in identifying, qualifying, and progressing opportunities across Swedish municipalities, maintaining a strong pipeline and consistent sales momentum.
Drive partner-led sales: Drive joint sales with our commercial partners, building shared pipeline, coordinating joint customer meetings and ensuring the team works effectively across both direct and partner channels.
Lead complex sales opportunities: Execute a hands-on role in strategic and high-value SaaS sales, guiding opportunities through prospecting, discovery, stakeholder engagement, solution positioning, commercial negotiations, procurement, and contract close.
Build trusted municipal relationships: Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across Swedish municipalities, including social services leadership, municipal healthcare leadership, department heads, municipal executives, procurement teams, and other relevant public-sector stakeholders.
Support effective sales processes: Support the team with effective ways of working across opportunity qualification, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM usage, contributing to improved sales effectiveness and predictability.
Navigate municipal procurement: Build a strong understanding of Swedish municipal decision-making, budget cycles, procurement processes, and relevant public-sector requirements, supporting the team in navigating complex purchasing journeys, including public procurement processes
Support customer success and expansion: Collaborate with Project Delivery and Medical Operations to support early pilots and rollouts, demonstrate customer value, develop reference customers, and identify opportunities for account growth.
Strengthen Tandem’s market presence: Represent Tandem at municipal networks, industry conferences, public-sector events, and relevant forums. Work with Marketing to develop sector-specific messaging, campaigns, and customer stories that generate awareness and demand.
Bring customer insights into the business: Represent the needs of Swedish municipalities internally, sharing feedback, challenges, and requirements with Product and Engineering teams to help inform product development and prioritisation.
Contribute market intelligence: Monitor developments in Swedish social care, municipal healthcare, local government, regulation, and digital transformation. Share insights with the Head of Municipalities and wider business to inform commercial priorities, positioning, and GTM activities.
What you bring
Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling technology solutions to municipalities, local government, or other public-sector organisations.
Demonstrable experience leading and coaching sales professionals, with a genuine interest in developing people and improving team performance.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify customer needs, articulate value propositions, and build compelling business cases.
Strong problem-solving skills and drive. A background in strategy, consulting, business development or similar is a plus.
Purpose-driven, with a genuine motivation to improve public welfare and a good cultural fit with public-sector organisations and their ways of working.
A track record of managing complex sales processes, building a strong pipeline, and converting opportunities into long-term customer relationships.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
A structured and proactive approach to sales management, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, CRM discipline, and performance tracking.
Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Project Delivery to support customer acquisition, implementation, and growth.
Experience of partner-led or channel sales, working with resellers or commercial partners alongside direct sales.
Experience driving or contributing to public tender processes is highly desirable.
Fluency in Swedish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with municipal stakeholders and internal teams.
Understanding of the Swedish municipal landscape, including public-sector procurement, budgeting cycles, and the challenges facing social care, municipal healthcare and local government would be a big bonus!
