The Position
As a member of the Commercial Support Team, the Commercial Support Specialist acts as a subject matter expert to accelerate the Quote-to-Contract (Q2C) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycles across Roche Diagnostics. In this role, you will consult and partner with Roche divisions and global affiliates to support commercial applications, manage contract lifecycle systems, optimize data quality, and resolve operational issues to drive business outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction.
The Opportunity:
- Act as first-level support and subject matter expert for commercial ecosystems and Contract Management Lifecycle Deal Solutions (managing quote, contract, fulfillment, and billing workflows).
- Resolve user inquiries, service requests, and platform/data issues using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), identifying root causes and driving problem resolution.
- Perform system administration, operational support, and routine data cleansing to maintain data quality, consistency, and alignment with global best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across business and IT on local, regional, and global levels to support solution roll-outs and align commercial tools with business goals.
- Analyze operational data and data systems to deliver root-cause insights, synthesize information, and recommend continuous improvements.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related economics discipline.
- 2+ years of business-related experience in order/contract management or project coordination, preferably within a global matrix environment.
- Strong understanding of sales and service ecosystems, contracting and pricing processes, and enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow).
- Analytical mindset with mid-to-advanced Excel skills and a proven ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data.
- Excellent communication, service orientation, and stakeholder management skills with fluent spoken and written English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proactive, details-oriented problem solver who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced virtual team setting.
